$7,500 Donation to Help with Renovations and Services

Joplin, MO – Ozark Center Turnaround Ranch received a $7,500 donation from Big Brothers. A check presentation was held  Thursday, at Turnaround Ranch.

Big Brothers raised the donated funds which will help Turnaround Ranch continue its mission to offer services for youth in crisis.

Donations to Turnaround Ranch make a big difference in young lives. Donations help provide supplies and stocking stuffers for each youth housed on campus during the holidays as well as provide new coats and recreational supplies.

About Turnaround Ranch

Turnaround Ranch, a 72-bed residential treatment facility for adolescents ages 10 – 18, provides 24-hour care for youths experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Located on 20 acres west of Joplin, Missouri, the main campus includes six cottages, a school, a gymnasium and outdoor recreational areas.

Our philosophy is built on the belief that youths need a trauma-sensitive environment that provides safety from physical harm and further trauma. We strive to provide our youths with the ability to experience, regulate, and express emotions in socially and culturally acceptable ways. Our programs focus on the individual needs of each person — helping them learn to cope and resolve what has happened to them.
