Freeman names new medical education director

Freeman Health System is proud to announce Dr. Robert McNab’s expanded role as director of medical education. Dr. McNab will continue to serve as director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and as a part-time hospitalist.

JOPLIN, Mo.—Freeman Health System is proud to announce Dr. Robert McNab’s expanded role as director of medical education. Dr. McNab will continue to serve as director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and as a part-time hospitalist.

As director of medical education, Dr. McNab is responsible for the oversight, administration, and accountability of the Freeman Graduate Medical Education Program. In addition to internal medicine, these include the ear, nose, and throat residency program, the emergency medicine residency program, and all medical student programs.

Dr. McNab is a graduate of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his internal medicine residency at Medical Center of Independence in Independence, Mo. He is board-certified in internal medicine and has more than ten years of experience in teaching medical students and residents in training.
