Spring days often mean beautiful weather, and Freeman Neosho Hospital is celebrating National Walking Day by encouraging its employees to get some fresh air and get moving. On Wednesday, April 1, employees will take a walk from the hospital to Big Spring Park and back to the hospital.

Freeman Health System promotes health and well-being not only for patients, but for employees as well. As the largest employer in southwest Missouri and the area’s largest healthcare provider, Freeman takes the lead in efforts to provide tools and activities to keep employees happy and healthy.

Employees can take advantage of two walking times, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and again at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Freeman Neosho Hospital will host a water and treat station at Big Spring Park.
