Love’s® Travel Stops & Country Stores Raises Funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®

Customers and employees of Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores are showing a lot of heart for area children with the return of the annual in-store fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Love’s Miracle Balloon Campaign gives customers the opportunity to purchase $1, $3 or $5 balloons through September 30 as a donation to the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Freeman Health System.

Nationally, the five-week campaign, including balloon sales and other events organized by Love’s employees, raised $2.15 million dollars in 2015. Since 1998, Love’s has raised more than $14 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Funds raised through the annual campaign stay local to help sick and injured children. Freeman Health System, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, is one of 170 member hospitals in the nation.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provides assistance to children from birth to 21 years of age in a 14-county area in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. All money raised stays local, helping children with medical needs and their families. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps furnish and maintain Freeman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, provides funding for local community organizations pediatric needs and provides pediatric emergency equipment for area agencies.
