Freeman Health System announces the addition of Dr. Adnan Khan. As a pulmonologist, Dr. Khan specializes in diseases of the lung, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, asthma and pulmonary hypertension.
“I believe better breathing is better living,” said Dr. Khan. “When I see a patient who is able to breathe more easily, it’s rewarding to know he or she will have a better quality of life.”
After earning his medical degree at Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Khan completed his residency in internal medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Ill. He then completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Memphis, Tenn.
