Freeman provides free physicals to area athletes throughout the year

Throughout the year, Freeman Rehabilitation and Sports Center provides free annual preparticipation physical exams to an estimated 2,000 middle school, high school, and college athletes from nearly 20 schools.
JOPLIN, Mo.—Throughout the year, Freeman Rehabilitation and Sports Center provides free annual preparticipation physical exams to around 2,000 middle school, high school, and college athletes from nearly 20 schools. The free physicals will continue for several Kansas and Missouri schools on July 22. The physicals will be offered at Freeman Rehabilitation and Sports Center, located at 2206 East 32nd Street. A schedule for the event is listed below.
For 22 years, Freeman has proudly provided this service to the community. More than 75 Freeman doctors, nurses, therapists, and clinicians volunteer their time and talent each night to assist with this service.
Parental consent is required for participation. Consent forms may be found at Missouri State High School Activities Association website or with a school’s athletic director. Each student athlete must have a signed consent form before a preparticipation physical examination can be conducted.
