Freeman Health System is proud to announce that Freeman Women’s Pavilion has received full mammography accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for a three-year period. 

As part of the accreditation review, all randomly selected clinical mammography cases met all ACR image quality and clinical evaluation standards. The cases were selected and reviewed entirely by the ACR under one of the most rigorous accreditation processes in healthcare imaging. 

This achievement reflects Freeman’s significant work to strengthen its breast imaging program through improved quality processes, enhanced staff training, and a deep commitment to excellence. Our efforts were central to meeting ACR requirements and ensuring patients can feel confident choosing Freeman for their care. 

There are no outstanding contingencies associated with this accreditation, and the ACR has notified the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as required. This milestone reinforces Freeman Health System’s continued focus on providing high-quality, reliable, and compassionate women’s health services for the communities we serve.
