Freeman Auxiliary Celebrates Freeman Gift Gallery Expansion

April 06, 2017

Funds generated help support various programs and projects.

Freeman Auxiliary celebrated the recent expansion of Freeman Gift Gallery at Freeman Hospital West with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The expansion allows for a larger selection of merchandise. Among items for sale in Freeman Gift Gallery are gifts for patients – fresh flowers, stuffed animals and baby items – plus jewelry and accessories, handbags, books, collectibles and home décor.

Along with the Freeman Hospital West location, Freeman Auxiliary members and volunteers staff Freeman Gift Gallery at Freeman Hospital East and Freeman Neosho Hospital. Funds generated at the three locations, along with fundraisers throughout the year, help support programs and projects at Freeman Health System and in the community.

During 2016-2017, Freeman Auxiliary donated more than $200,000 to various programs, including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States, Freeman Cornell-Beshore Cancer Institute, Turnaround Ranch and the Chaplains Fund. Freeman Auxiliary also purchased wheelchairs and other needed hospital equipment.
