    10th Annual Freeman 5K

Regretfully, Freeman Health System must announce the cancellation of the 10th Annual Freeman 5K and One-Mile Fun Run, which was planned for April 4, 2020, at Joplin YMCA. After careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to cancel out of concern for the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Our participants’ safety is of the utmost importance. The event will not be rescheduled and no refunds can be provided. Funds have already been spent in preparation for the race on t-shirts, medals as well as race vendor deposits.Participants can still run or walk in their race t-shirts by doing a virtual 5K. They can share pictures of their virtual run on the Freeman 5K Facebook Event page. T-shirt distribution will still take place at a later date. We appreciate those who registered in advance and all who had planned to be part of the race.
