A person dies by suicide every 8.7 minutes; that’s more than 125 lives lost every day.* This Suicide Awareness Month, Ozark Center Crisis Services will create canvases of hope throughout the city of Joplin. Join us as our community comes together to share their messages of hope and stories of survival.
Stop by one of our five locations on Friday, September 23, and write your message on one of painter’s canvases. Crisis counselors will be also available at each location to share, chat and provide resources. After the event, the completed canvases will be displayed in Ozark Center facilities.
Together, we can shine light into the darkness.
