Areas of interest in Emergency Medicine: Critical care and procedures. My favorite procedures to do are intubations. My least favorite procedure is chest tube insertion. As chief, I like being involved in the teaching of the next generation and working to foster a more positive culture in medicine. We are responsible for the future of medicine, and we owe it to the next generation to make it less toxic than it was before.
Areas of interest outside medicine: Gardening, baking, watching murder mysteries on Netflix, reading (really listening to audiobooks), spending time with my hubby, snuggles with my dogs and cat, and listening to EM:RAP on my way into shift.
