Our Shared Governance program gives nurses a voice to help them provide the best patient care. Learn more about Shared Governance, or view the Shared Governance 2012 Nursing Annual Report.
The Advancing Professional Program (TAPP)
We value our nurses! TAPP offers bedside nurses opportunities for professional development through continuing education, community service, participation in shared governance, and involvement in process and quality improvement. Through the program, we recognize, reward, and encourage bedside nurses who choose to enhance their skills and strive to become the best of the best. Registered nurses providing direct patient care at patients’ bedside may apply for TAPP.
Fellowship in Nursing and Learning Experience program (FINALE)
FINALE provides student nurses the opportunity to strengthen patient care skills and critical thinking skills in the acute care nursing environment. Each student nurse works under direct supervision of a registered nurse preceptor and practices Freeman patient care standards.
