Phil Willcoxon
Senior Vice President of Administration

After working summers at Freeman during high school and college, Phil Willcoxon rejoined Freeman in 1992, working in Physician Recruitment. He was promoted to Freeman Neosho Hospital Administrator in 1995 and Freeman Neosho Hospital Chief Executive Officer in 2000. Mr. Willcoxon became Freeman Health System Senior Vice President of Administration in 2008 and, in that capacity, oversees Physician Recruitment, Nutrition Services, Housekeeping, Patient Transport, Operating Room Operations, and Marketing.
Mr. Willcoxon holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kansas State University and a master's in hospital administration from the University of Missouri Graduate School of Health.
Mr. Willcoxon was elected to the Joplin R-VIII School Board in 2008. Additionally, he serves the community through leadership roles on the boards of Freeman Neosho Hospital and Community Bank & Trust.
He holds diplomat status in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
