Phil Willcoxon
Ozark Center Chief Executive Officer
Phil Willcoxon joined Freeman full-time in 1992, after working summers at Freeman during high school and college. He was promoted to Freeman Neosho Hospital Administrator in 1995 and Freeman Neosho Chief Executive Officer in 2000. In 2008, he became Freeman Senior Vice President of Administration and, in 2010, was named Ozark Center Chief Executive Officer.
Willcoxon was elected to the Joplin Public Schools Board of Education in 2008 and re-elected in 2011. Additionally, Phil serves the community through leadership roles on the boards of Ozark Center and Community Bank & Trust. He previously served on the boards of Freeman Neosho Hospital and Freeman Surgical Center.
He holds diplomat status in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Willcoxon holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University and a master’s in hospital administration from University of Missouri Graduate School of Health.
