New Ozark Center Program Director
JOPLIN, Mo.—Lisa K. Badgley, MS, joins the staff of Ozark Center as Program Director. In her new role, Badgley will focus on new program development and current programming improvements to move toward person-centered treatment in both adult and children's outpatient services. Addtionally, she will provide oversight for Ozark Center's two U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) apartment programs and the recently announced new apartment complex made possible through a $1.5 million HUD grant.
Badgley received a bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, and a master's in psychology from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas. She joins Ozark Center following a 21-year career with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, most recently serving as State Certification Coordinator for Community Psychiatric Services based in Jefferson City, Missouri.
According to Ozark Center CEO Paula Baker, "We are pleased to have someone with Lisa's extensive experience join our executive team, and I look forward to her contributions as we continue to develop innovative ways to address the mental health needs of our community."
