JOPLIN, Mo.—Freeman Rehabilitation and Sports Center will provide free annual preparticipation physical exams to an estimated 2,000 middle school, high school and college athletes. Offered to nearly 20 local schools, the free physicals will first be available to Joplin middle and high school students on April 10 at Freeman Rehabilitation and Sports Center, located at 2206 East 32nd Street. Physicals will be offered to additional schools later this month and again in July.

For 22 years, Freeman has proudly provided this service to the community. More than 75 Freeman doctors, nurses, therapists, and clinicians volunteer their time and talent each night to assist with this service.

Parental consent is required for participation. Consent forms may be located at Missouri State High School Activities Association website or with a school’s athletic director.
