Jeffrey Carrier, FACHE, NE-BC
Chief Nursing Officer
Jeffrey Carrier joined Freeman in 2008 as Vice President of Operations and was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer in 2009. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a board-certified nurse executive.
He serves as a board member of the Missouri Organization of Nurse Leaders, is President of Metro Emergency Transport System in Joplin, and belongs to Rotary International. Mr. Carrier was selected as one of the 2008 Forty under 40 honorees and was also selected as the 2009 Freeman Health System representative for the Leadership Joplin Program. During his service in the U. S. Army, he was the recipient of several medals and certifications.
Mr. Carrier received an associate degree in liberal arts from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida, a bachelor’s degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University, Olathe, Kansas, and a master’s in management degree from Baker University, Baldwin, Kansas.
