We serve more than 1 million meals each year and recognize the importance wholesome foods. Since signing the Healthy Food in Healthcare Pledge in December 2010, we’ve dramatically increased the amount of fresh, locally grown foods served within our health system.

As part of our commitment to promoting healthy eating habits among patients, guests, and Freeman caregivers, we’ve established farmers markets at each of our 3 campuses. The farmers markets run from May to October each year, offering fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, and herbs from local farms.
