Since 1933, Freeman Health System Auxiliary members have helped create a warm and caring atmosphere for guests, visitors, and staff. The Auxiliary is made up of people who wish to make a difference in the community. Men and women of all ages and from all walks of life participate in Auxiliary activities and volunteer in many areas at Freeman.
Freeman Auxiliary raises money to provide funds for hospital equipment, services, scholarships, and community needs. Through the efforts of members, the Auxiliary contributes to Children's Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States, Freeman Chaplain's Fund, Freeman Breast Cancer Fund, and nursing scholarships and also purchases wheelchairs and other needed hospital equipment.
